Admission Notification for BA/B.Sc./B.Com (1^st Year)

Session: 2009-2010

The Admission process 2009-2010 will start on and from June 1, 2009. Information booklet (Prospectus) containing application form will be available from the following sources on 30^th May, 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th and 6^th of June, 2009. A Merit List will be published on June 10, 2009 (Commerce at 9 a.m., Science at 12 noon and Arts at 3 p.m.). Detailed admission procedure will also be notified later.

COLLEGE COUNTER

ON WEEK DAYS (June 1 to 5):

· From 08-00 a.m. to 10-00 a.m.

· From 11-00 a.m. to 2-00 p.m.

ON SATURDAY (June 6):

· From 8-00 a.m. to 9-30 a.m.

· 10-00 a.m to 12-00 noon

** Candidates who passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent in 2006 and onwards are only eligible to apply.

Submission of forms

Duly filled in Original Application Form will be accepted in the college office on:

Attention!

Candidates are also required to bring, at the time of submission of application form,

a photocopy of the filled-in form

for the purpose of receipt.

Minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the course/s:

For General Course –

· Passed in 10+2 Examination and also passed in English having a full marks of not less than 100.

For Honours Course –

GENERAL CATEGORY:

· Passed in English having full marks of not less than 100.

AND

· Have obtained at least 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at 10+2 level Examination

· Have obtained 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the 10+2 level Examination

S.C. / S.T. CATEGORY:

· Passed in English having full marks of not less than 100.

AND

· Have obtained at least 40% marks in the aggregate OR 40% marks in the subject or related subject at 10+2 level Examination
