Admission Notification for BA/B.Sc./B.Com (1st Year)

The Admission process 2009-2010 will start on and from June 1, 2009. Information booklet (Prospectus) containing application form will be available from the following sources on 30th  May, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th of June, 2009. A Merit List will be published on June 10, 2009 (Commerce at 9 a.m.,  Science at 12 noon and Arts at 3 p.m.). Detailed admission procedure will also be notified later.

 

Distribution of Prospectus including Application Forms (Cost Rs.120/- each)

(one prospectus including form can be used to apply for a maximum of 5 courses/subjects)

    COLLEGE COUNTER

ON WEEK DAYS (June 1 to 5):

·       From 11-00 a.m. to 2-00 p.m.

ON SATURDAY (June 6):

·       From 8-00 a.m. to 9-30 a.m.

·       10-00 a.m to 12-00 noon

** Candidates who passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent in 2006 and onwards are only eligible to apply.

 Minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the course/s:

 

For General Course –

·       Passed in 10+2 Examination and also passed in English having a full marks of not less than 100.

 

For Honours Course –

 

GENERAL CATEGORY:

·       Passed in English having full marks of not less than 100.

AND

·       Have obtained at least 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at 10+2 level Examination

OR

·       Have obtained 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the 10+2 level Examination

 

S.C. / S.T. CATEGORY:

·       Passed in English having full marks of not less than 100.

AND

·       Have obtained at least 40% marks in the aggregate OR 40% marks in the subject or related subject at 10+2 level Examination
